Cadell St Kitchen Renovation

KITCHEN RENOVATION

This lovely residence near the banks of the Darling River required a total renovation of the original kitchen. The kitchen space was large but lacked functionality and was outdated.

After consultation with the client, mood boards, 2D spatial planning, joinery drawings, lighting & electrical plans and 3D modelling documents were done to prepare for the renovation.

An immediate wow factor was created with a new oversized island clad in the stunning Smartstone Calacutta Oro. Timber cupboards were replaced with 2pac cabinetry in a modern shaker style which helped brighten the space. Stunning raw brass pendant lights were hung from the refreshed timber beams injecting personality into the room. A kitchen window was replaced with sliding doors to an outdoor patio creating a better connection for entertaining. Functionality was addressed with double wall ovens, an easy to clean induction cooktop, concealed range hood, an appliance cupboard and an LED lit pantry with pull-out drawers. Matching curved joinery was also designed for the adjoining dining area ensuring continuity in the space.

The client is so elated with her new kitchen and thoroughly enjoys cooking and entertaining in the refreshed space. She found the renovation process was made much easier and smoother by having the design so well documented particularly when it came to working with the tradespeople.
